Jerry L. Freedman, a veteran trial attorney, is the Founder and Senior Partner of the Jerry L. Freedman, a Professional Corporation a Los Angeles (Sherman Oaks), California-based law firm which concentrates its practice in the legal areas of corporate law, business and civil litigation, professional liability, real estate litigation, homeowner association law, real estate litigation, insurance coverage and litigation of bad faith claims.

During his distinguished career, which spans almost three decades, Mr. Freedman has had extensive experience in representing individuals and corporations. He has provided his clients counsel and services relating to a wide variety of legal matters, including: business litigation and transactional matters, premises liability, government tort law, automobile accidents, errors and omissions of professionals, coverage and insurance bad faith, real estate litigation and other tort matters.

Mr. Freedman, who is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, the Central District of the United States District Court and the United States Supreme Court, is a member of, and active in, numerous professional legal organizations. These include the Los Angeles County and San Fernando Valley Bar Associations, State Bar of California and Consumer Attorney Association of Los Angeles. In addition, he has been appointed to the Panel of the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Freedman is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, a well known legal publication.  The AV rating is the highest rating given to attorneys.

A native of Rochester, New York, Mr. Freedman attended the State University of New York from which he received a Bachelors of Science degree, cum laude, in Mathematics. He matriculated to the Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1976.

Prior to forming his law firm, Mr. Freedman was a Partner in the Los Angeles law firms of Kinkle, Rodiger & Spriggs, Freedman, Pave, McCord & Jacobs and Sylvester, Oppenheim & Freedman.

Mr. Freedman, who is a noted speaker and lecturer on subjects relating to his legal areas of expertise resides in Los Angeles.
